Excellent staff with a simple menu. They even have glutton free buns so that worked out great. Small simple beer selection. Fries and onion rings are great. Very kid friendly and easy to accommodate larger groups.Recommend for families, large groups, for a fast simple meal.

Not fast food, good food.Great big burgers that take two hands to eat.The peanut oil added a different quality to the fries and onion rings; I loved it.

We ordered 2 hot dogs, an onion ring and kids Hamburg no cheese with lettuce and a sprite to go. We got home and had 1 hot dog, and no drink and the Hamburg has no lettuce and came with cheese. We called the manager once we discovered the food that was wrong or missing and the manager said oh thanks for letting us know! Oh geesh thanks for not offering a complimentary beverage and hot dog! The food was good but service was terrible!

We placed an order online for carryout. An hour later we went to go pick it up. Order was not ready, not even put in. We had to wait another 30 minutes. They tried to lie about it being put in. They did offer 20% off, but apparently can't do simple math and gave us 10% off. We got the food back to the hotel and they forgot mushrooms and onions we paid extra for. We paid $50 for mediocre burgers that took 1 hour and 30 minutes to get that weren't made correctly. Well not visit again, we strongly suggest not to order for pickup.

Spent an afternoon visiting Sanibel and Captiva. Cheeburger Cheeburger was highly recommended from a family member. This restaurant didn't disappoint. Be careful on the size of the sandwiches and loaded fries to order. Loaded fries were the best ever. Great staff too and cool memorabilia.

Last week, we had great food in a family friendly environment. One of us have a serve allergy to gluten and they were able to answer all of our questions and provide us with the best options for food choices. They have a gluten-free bun or can put the burger on lettuce. Their delicious fryers are sadly not gluten-free though. Our waitress was great! Looking forward to heading back there in a few days!

They make really, really good burgers here. That's basically all that's on the menu, but if you want a darn good burger this is a great place for it. Kitschy atmosphere isn't really my style though.

OMG my boyfriend and I have being here twice and it’s just delicious. Good service clean place. Forgot the straws but overall awesome place.

We've visited this location many times over the years vacationing at Sanibel. The burgers and onion rings are always great. But for some reason, the place just never seems very clean. It's showing its age, and I get it - stuff gets old. But there's a fine line between old and "run down." The restrooms were very unpleasant, didn't feel clean. Our table was wobbly enough to be a worry. Each time we go (once a year on average), we arrive feeling anxious about how the place just doesn't look well taken care of, and typically the time waiting for the food is spent talking about what we could do to this place with $N of remodeling budget ... but in fairness, we always leave raving about the food, and the service is always friendly. And hey, we keep coming back, so I suppose that says it all.

We all agreed this was one of our favorite meals on the island. The place wasn't very crowded at all (around 3pm). The menu is fun with endless toppings for the delicious burgers. The onion rings were some of the best we've ever had. Make sure to leave room for dessert as the shakes are equally as good and the combinations are endless. Highly recommend!

Wish I would of found this place sooner! Absolutely love we ordered cheese burgers, fries, fried mushrooms and onion rings bomb!! Very clean and friendly only thing I wish is they had coke products. Also appreciate the cooks for the delicious food you make always fresh and hot!! You rock !!! Thank you

We decided to stop in and place our food order to take back to our rented house on Sanibel. It took over 8 minutes for a staff member to approach me at the counter and take my order. The cheese burgers were cooked as requested, the fresh cut fries and onion rings family size were perfect to share. The strawberry banana milk shake was so yummy. The chocolate cherry milk shake was overly cherry and almost undrinkable. The chocolate cookie dough milk shake lacked cookie dough pieces leaving it like drinking a plain chocolate shake. The vanilla Oreo shake had an abundance of Oreo pieces and thuroghly enjoyed.

Good service and food. The batter on fried foods was so good, light and crispy. The place really needs a good deep cleaning and remodel, especially for the price of the food I would've expected more. Good service.

Made reservations a half hour in advance. They were so accommodating. I couldn't believe we could book the entire place for 4 people.

I have been to Cheeburger Cheeburger many times. The onion rings are phenomenal. The burgers are good. I like mine a little less cooked but Cheeburger only cook to medium and Beyond. This time we tried some fried pickles and they were delicious. The restaurant staff does a great job of wearing mask and gloves. They also space the tables well. Overall it was a great experience.

Cheeburger Cheeburger is a family tradition for us every year when we visit Sanibel Island. We've never been disappointed in anything their burgers are terrific. The french fries and onion rings deep fried portobello mushrooms are awesome try it you'll like it!

Excellent service and great food are to be found here. Our friendly and efficient server, John, did a great job as did the other employee, a young man. We started with a basket of onion rings and fries, two food items we normally avoid, but we knew from experience are delicious here and well worth the calories. We followed with delicious burgers. Next time we will get shakes. Those are always terrific. Will return again soon. Very good value for the money.

This place was recommended to us by someone who visited a while ago. There was an hour wait which I'm not too mad about because it's during the virus. When we were seated, the floor had food all over it and the seats had food on them! The men's bathroom was so gross my son had to use the women's bathroom. I ordered the cheesesteak and it was so dry I had to put ketchup on it to be able to eat it. We ordered fries, took one bite and had them removed from the bill. Another reason we decided to go here was because they offered gluten free buns. They were out. The fries were cooked with the other breaded fried foods making them not gluten free. We will not be back and we will not recommend this place. Ever. Oh, and the tip was pre added leaving the guest no option. I ALWAYS tip, but I don't appreciate the option being taken away.

Cheeseburger cheeseburger what a great name for a burger joint, and just one mile from Sanibel Bridge. Their burgers are great and the milkshakes are even better. the staff are friendly and helpful. they have indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of parking. I really enjoyed my visit.

I must say that the fried mushrooms were fantastic and the burgers are what we expected and more... Ice tea very delicious, I highly recommend stopping here for a great meal.

This place is an embarrestment to the restaurant industry. First of the place is filthy, not quality meat. The fries are good, i will say that. Would not recommend better options on the island. If you care about yourself you wont eat here

Horrible. Decided to check it out since it had decent reviews. Staff was downright MISERABLE. Not one smiled or was welcoming. Food was ok, certainly not worth it considering the staff was almost put out for doing their jobs. VERY disappointing. Maybe it was an off day...but for the entire staff?? Suggest other options be considered.

Greatest burger ever. Nice and cheesy, good taste (savory) pickles, and they come with fries. Great spot to stop on vacation!!!!! Loved it can't wait for next trip to FL.

We have been coming to Cheeburger Cheeburger for many years and this is the first time none of us ordered a burger, we ordered chicken fingers $8.99, portobello mushroom sandwich $7.99 and the Chee-dog $6.99 which is a ft long hotdog. We ordered fried pickles as appetizer and fries and onion rings as sides. For three of us we over-ordered for sure. The fried pickles are plentiful and while the batter is nice and crisp, the pickles are a bit salty. The chicken fingers come with 5 in an order and the chicken is quality. The batter isn’t as crispy as I’d like but they are good. The Portobello sandwich is really tasty and worth getting. The Che-dog is quite flavorful and we ordered ours with chili and cheese. The fries are natural cut and quite good and the onion rings are nice. Our server today was Laura and a mage was attentive and friendly.

Great food. Great fun. Medicore prices. We always eat here on vacation. Lots of memories.
